Learn Pilates. Find Your Voice. Teach Pilates.
Knowing Pilates exercises and knowing how to teach Pilates are two very different things.
Great instructors know how to look up from their own mat, see the people in front of them, and respond to what they need.
That means understanding movement.
Knowing when to progress—and when to modify.
Giving clear cues without overwhelming students.
Creating classes that feel intentional rather than random.
Making beginners feel comfortable.
Teaching different bodies without assuming there is one “right” way to move.
And creating an experience where students feel supported, capable, and connected.
That is what this training is designed to teach you.

100-hour Certification Experience
Become a certified Mat Pilates Instructor in 4 weekends over 2 months
This is not just a training… it’s your journey from student to teacher.
A journey of learning, practicing, finding your voice + building the confidence to lead.
You’ll deepen your understanding of Pilates while learning how to safely and intentionally teach the humans in front of you. Through immersive in-person training, hands-on practice, mentorship + real teaching experience, you’ll grow into a confident, knowledgeable and connected Mat Pilates instructor.

Meet Your Instructor
Meet Liz Denny- Lead Instructor

Hi, I’m Liz! I’m a mom, longtime movement educator, Yoga + Pilates teacher, and wellness professional who believes movement has the power to help people feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies.
For more than 20 years, I’ve been teaching and supporting people through movement and wellness. I am a 500-E-RYT, RPYT, Certified Pilates Instructor + Certified Health Coach, with experience working with students through many different ages, abilities and seasons of life.
As the Lead Instructor for the MYT 100-Hour Foundational Mat Pilates Teacher Training, my goal isn’t simply to teach you Pilates exercises. I want to teach you how to teach.
We’ll dive into movement, anatomy, cueing, sequencing, modifications, class design + the art of seeing and responding to the people in front of you. You’ll have opportunities to practice, ask questions, receive feedback, make mistakes, find your voice + build real confidence before you ever lead a class on your own.
I believe the best instructors combine knowledge with connection. They create spaces where students feel safe, capable, included and supported—and that philosophy will be woven throughout this entire training.
Whether you already know you want to teach Pilates or you simply feel a pull to deepen your knowledge and see where this journey takes you, you don’t have to arrive already feeling like a teacher.
That’s what we’re here to help you become.
I can’t wait to learn alongside you, cheer you on + watch you discover the instructor within you.

Our training is built on a foundation of heart-centered training from powerful mentors.
I believe a great teacher can change the way you experience movement, and a great teacher training can change the way you see yourself.
As our love for Mat Pilates has grown at MYT, I knew I wanted to create a training that went beyond learning exercises. I wanted future instructors to understand movement, find their voice, build confidence + learn how to truly see and support the humans in front of them.
I could not imagine a better person to lead this training than Liz. She brings 20+ years of experience, incredible knowledge and, most importantly, heart.
Whether you know you want to teach or simply feel a pull to learn more, say YES to exploring it. You never know where one YES might lead.
